Mission Statement

Our Sustainability Initiatives are Designed to: address Climate Change, reduce our Carbon Footprint, combat Air Pollution, and educate the next generation of Students, about a Sustainable lifestyle-that includes Renewable Energy.

Goals:

  1. To Reduce harmful Emissions and Air Pollution around our Students-by converting (almost) half our Diesel Fleet with Electric School Buses.

  2. To set a record for Electric School Bus Deployment - by going from Design, to Construction, to Charging buses in less than 7 months!

  3. To be the first School District in the Nation to construct and use (6) SOLES- Sustainable Outdoor Learning Environments (classrooms).

  4. To Replace Diesel & Gas Mowing & Landscape Equipment Tools- with Battery Electric equipment.

  5. To involve our Students in the Energy Conservation & Emission Reduction Process- & train them for Green Career Path Choices!
